What you need to get started making beaded crafts?

What you need to get started making beaded crafts?

Just getting started with beaded crafts and have no idea where to start? We've got you!

Supplies Needed:

  1. Loop Turners: Required for all crafts using string, They help you get the beads on the string.
  2. A Lighter: Used to burn the ends of the string, I use a torch lighter from Amazon but any will work. I have them linked on our Amazon Storefront you can find that link on any of our social media profiles.
  3. Darning Needles: Used for wristlets, Not required, you can use your loop turner instead but I prefer the needles so I don't damage the loop turners.
  4. Knot Grippers: These are wooden craft tools that will help you get the knots tight on a wristlet so they are not loose and saggy, they also save your hands from getting hurt. Not required.
  5. Needle Nose Pilers: These come in handy but are not required, they help you pull and push the string. I use them on almost all of my crafts and I got them from Amazon.

Wristlet Keychains:

Materials Needed:

  1. Nylon String (1.5mm or 2mm) Both sizes work for everything. I prefer the 2mm.
  2. Keyring Clasp (Offered in Silver & Gold)
  3. 15mm Silicone Beads (18-24 beads depends on the size you want to create) I usually use 20-21.

Straight Keychains:

With String, Materials Needed:

  1. Nylon String (1.5mm or 2mm) Both sizes work for everything. I prefer the 2mm.
  2. Keyring Clasp (Offered In Silver & Gold)
  3. Beads (As many as you'd like, that's the beauty of using string for keychains. You can use any beads for these but acrylics won't fit on the loop turners.)
  4. Focal Bead (These are the design beads!)

With Bar Keychains:

  1. The Bar Keychains (We offer them in 10 packs or individually)
  2. Glue (For bar keychains you will need to glue the little balls on the end, I recommend waiting until you sell that item before gluing them, I use Gorilla Glue with the Brush Nozzle)
  3. Beads (For these you can only put on as many beads that will fit, it ranges from 2-4 beads with a focal bead depending on the size of the focal and beads you are using) (Spacer beads like the "Lentil Spacers" are highly recommend.)

Car Charm:

Materials Needed:

  1. Nylon String (1.5mm or 2mm) Both sizes work for everything. I prefer the 2mm.
  2. Break Away Clasp (Offered in a 50PK)
  3. A 65mm Silicone Ring (This is the center ring)
  4. A Focal Bead
  5. 15mm Silicone Beads (As many as you'd like, I use 2 on top 2 on the bottom and spacers in the middle of the ring in between the focal bead to cover any extra space. You can also use other beads like different kinds of spacers (Lentils, Abacus, Wide Hole Rhinestones), hexagons and even acrylics but acrylics will have to be applied by hand as they don't fit on the loop turners.

Cup Charms:

Materials Needed:

  1. Wire Cables (We only offer them in one size 6 inches)
  2. Beads (Acrylic beads will not fit on these unless you drill a hole big enough, but all silicone beads will fit even the tiny lentil spacers.) I love to use the wide hole rhinestone spacers on them!

Beaded Pens:

Materials Needed:

  1. Beadable Pens (We offer them in many colors! You can purchase just 1 or a 10 pack or the 20 pack mixed pack.)
  2. Beads (Many different beads can be used for these! All focal beads fit, 15mm silicone beads, 20 mm acrylic beads, all of the spacers we offer and hexagons!) You can get really creative with pens. They fit around 2-4 beads with a focal depending on which on you use.
  3. Ink Refills (If desired)
